Love and Lust - Points to Ponder

At the outset, it is defined that love is as an inextricable attachment to a mate.
The sincerity and earnest desire are compelling him or her, involving head over heel to get united.
The magnitude of involvement varies from a person to a person depending upon the gravity of their desire and attachment.
Structurally the love can be abstract and virtual, yet it is also materialistic and physical.
Hence the love can be spiritual and tangible.
It is essential to understand and differentiate between the meaning and concept of love.
There is a thin line dividing the mind and mentality of an individual.
The important aspect is the individual's maturity, attitude and behavior, which matter a lot.
Interestingly, love affects most of us, however, it's telling tale effects become visible on our faces when its outcome becomes known to an individual.
Psychiatrist M Scott Peck says, "Love is the desire to extend you.
Love is effortful; it involves personal sacrifice, and it grows slowly".
The extravagance of purity of love drives the physical urge of intimacy, thus giving birth to lust.
It is also defined as confusing quasi love feeling.
Therefore, love and lust are inescapably entwined.
It is totally a biological urge overpowering the human mind.
It is also compelling him or her to commit an act which is otherwise undesirable within the norms of religious, ethical or moral values.
The same act becomes permissible when a couple tied their nuptial knot.
The religion incorporating its laws and regulations is to govern the humanity.
There are people who are displaying their faithfulness in all its sanctity in getting attached to the Creator.
Their true love of the Creator is perfectly followed and exemplarily displays both in action and deeds.
On the other hand, the tangible love involves human urge in the form of physical attachments.
The sincere love respects the moral values and upheld its trust within the sanctity of ethical and religious bondage.
Whereas, the lust overpowers the feelings of love, exceeds the boundaries and values, thus develop physical intimacy without any regards to the ethos of human feelings.
Therefore, the points to ponder are to inculcate moral and ethical values at the very young age.
The guidance must be a continual process in the form of appreciation and encouragement at every step.
They should be involved in healthy discussions.
They should learn peripheral knowledge of the physiology and biology.
The other related information and evaluation are important otherwise the same thing they will learn in lust oriented way in their social circle.
The children should show a greater degree of confidence in their parents.
The parent's experience of life is an asset which the children must utilize to their advantage.
They should be open to suggestions and advice to avoid regretful events in the future.
